LIGA Original Product Recall To Clarify Feeding Instructions

LIGA ORIGINAL PRODUCT RECALL TO CLARIFY FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
As a precautionary measure, Jacob Fruitfield Food Group, the distributor of Liga in Ireland is recalling Liga Original from the market to change the feeding instructions on the pack to make them clearer when feeding babies aged 6 -9 months. This is part of a European initiative by Kraft, manufacturers of Liga.
If you have purchased Liga Original please follow the instructions below:

The product is safe to feed to babies aged over 9 months either as a dry biscuit or mixed with a liquid.
- For babies aged 6 – 9 months, the product is only suitable if first mixed with liquid such as milk or fruit juice. The product should NOT be fed as a dry biscuit because it can take longer to soften in the mouth and the possibility of discomfort or choking cannot be completely excluded.

There are no risks for babies who have already consumed the product.
No other Liga products are affected.
