Clarendon Confectionery is the umbrella brand for some of Ireland’s much loved brands including Double Centre, Scots Clan, Silvermints and Yorkshire Toffee. Some of the brands date back to the 1880’s and are now produced in Tallaght, Dublin.

 

 

Silvermints

Up until recently the unique ‘melt in the mouth’ mint has been only available in the traditional foil packed tube. Now you can get your Silvermints fix from a larger share size format in the form of an eye-catching 120g cello bag. In keeping with Silvermints fun and irreverent personality each of bags, which have an RSP of €1.30, features one of four Silvermints cartoons on the back of the pack. Scots Clan

The unique combination of smooth caramel and dark chocolate has proven an irresistible combination, making this brand a winner year after year. In 2003 the brand was revamped and given a more contemporary look and a number of new formats were also introduced. The brand has recently been extended with the highly successful launch of Scots Clan Bar. Consisting of 6 individual bite size Scots Clan sweets, the bar will appeal to those looking for a self-indulgent treat to enjoy all at once or perhaps to eat some now and save a bit for later!

 

Double Centre

The classic Irish assortment dates back to 1938 and includes a selection of delicious chocolate and toffee combinations. The brand performs particularly well at Christmas when a variety of pack formats are available including smaller gift sizes and larger family share boxes and tins. Double Centre is also available in a cello bag format and a smaller share size carton all year round.

 

Yorkshire Toffee

Yorkshire Toffee is a rich and creamy toffee made from an original country recipe. Varieties in the range also include Yorkshire Fudge - a soft buttery bite and Yorkshire Rum & Butter Toffee - the traditional toffee sweets with a little kick! Newly launched is the chewy Yorkshire Toffee Bar which is a smooth toffee slab – ideal for those looking for a satisfying eat.
